Speaking to H-Metro, the controversial but talented performer said he was inspired by rhumba maestro Koffi Olomide as the single has a rhumba flair.
“I have been inspired by Koffi who recently performed at Bona Mugabe’s wedding and I just decided to add that rhumba flair.
“The track is about the girl which I was referring as the no.1. In another stanza, I also indicated that I am ‘number one’ in music circles.
“As the song unfolds, I specified that all the Zimbabweans at large are the best. If we are to look at the duties which they are partaking inside and outside the country it can be testified that we are the best,” he said.
He added: “It is the people who inspire us to continue producing music because they are accepting our music and we feel honoured for that.
“When people applaud you, it means a lot as an artiste as you will be motivated to continue working hard to produce the best.”
