WHEN the woman got to her house after a night of boozing she was happy to arrive home safely. But she could not have imagined what was about to happen to her.

And to her horror, she recognised him as one of the men from a tavern in Bheki at Mabopane, Tshwane where she was having drinks on Wednesday night.
The rape survivor, who may not be identified, told Daily Sun the man grabbed her by the throat and threatened to kill her if she screamed.
He then pulled her to the nearby bushes, ripped off her clothes and started raping her.
“I screamed for help at the top of my voice. A man came out of his house and blew a vuvuzela,” she said.
But not even the vuvuzela alarm helped her.
Soon other men came to the bushes and asked what was going on.
“He told them that I was his girlfriend. Despite my cries for help they believed him and left me!
“Then he told me to get up and walked me home. I was naked,” she said.
When they arrived at her house he told her if she screamed he would kill her. He ordered her to open her back room door.
The scared woman did as she was told.
“Inside my room he told me that he was going to finish what he had started,” she said.
He allegedly repeatedly raped her until the morning.
She said she later went to the Loate Police Station where she laid a charge of rape.
Cops said they are looking for the suspect, who has since disappeared.
