Mzansi's sweetheart and media darling, Minnie Dlamini has spoken out about the failed romance she had with Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune.
The 24-year old media personality was candid as she spoke to True Love about how she was coping after her very public split from Khune.
The two have been in an on and off relationship since they were first spotted together about three years ago. They rekindled their romance recently and went public - appearing at award ceremonies together and showing off their affection on social media.
About the failed relationship, an emotional Dlamini told True Love: "I won't lie, I really didn't want to talk about it, but I need to stop acting like it didn't happen. It happened and it hurt me tremendously. I am completely broken as a result. I have no regrets.
"If there is one thing I know I did perfectly in my life...it was my previous relationship. It's just that sometimes things don't go according to plan and you know you can't control someone else's feelings and that's really what it boils down to."
Dlamini went on to tell the magazine that her focus was now her career but she would not give up on finding love again.
Dlamini and Khune's adorable love affair was not meant to be it seems, as reports of a split hit headlines this year, with Dlamini confirming on her Twitter timeline.
But Dlamini opted to not speak out about the reasons for their parting. It was widely thought that Khune's alleged dalliance with an SABC employee and his humiliating 'groping incident' with Dlamini's rival, Bonang Matheba was to blame for them calling time on their relationship.
