Just call him the Fresh Prince of chrome dome. Will Smith has got a jiggy with a pair of clippers ahead of his new comic book-inspired flick Suicide Squad.
The 46-year-old has spent days hiding his head around Toronto, Canada, but on Tuesday forgot to cover up revealing his bald head.
Sitting in his car and having an animated phone conversation, there was of course no mistaking Will.
But the actor who normally sports a close cropped ‘‘do” certainly looked very different without any hair at all.
His new look is for role of villain-forced-to-be-hero Deadshot in the new all-star Warner Brothers movie.
Deadshot is the code name for baddie Floyd Lawton who first appeared the 1950s Batman comic books.
He is a marksman for hire who has little regard for human life and dresses in a distinctive red jumpsuit that covers his head along with a metal face plate and a scope to help him target his victims over one eye.
It is no doubt this rather distinctive costume that is the reason for Will ditching his hair.
In the comic book history of the character, Deadshot has a dalliance with Harley Quinn so fans of the star’s current film, Focus, will get to see the chemistry between him and Margot Robbie as she steps in as Harley. In the Suicide Squad a collection of bad guys are forced to work for the government making them cross over from the darkside and morphing the into anti-heroes.
Also joining the crew is Jared Letto as Joker who also has a little thing going on with Harley Carla Delevingne who plays Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman who will be Rick Flag, Karen Fukuhara as Plastique and Viola Davis who has been cast as Amanda Waller. — Hollywoodtimes.
