PHD Ministries Founder, Prophet Walter Magaya says he changed the fortunes of Zimbabwe International Striker, Nyasha Mushekwi who is currently scoring for fun in the Sweden top flight league.
Mushekwi who is on loan at Swedish Allssvenskan League side, djurgardens from South African Team, Mamelodi Sundowns, is currently the leading goalscorer in Sweden. Last year at Belgian club, KV Oostende, Mushekwi spent the better part of the season battling a knee injury which cut short his loan spell at the club.
However this year has been good for the Zimbabwean player and he has so far scored ten goals.
“Look what God did to Mushekwi,” Magaya said last week as he showed national team players a video of Mushekwi at his church. In the video, also seen by this publication, Magaya touched Mushekwi’s head before the player tumbled to the ground.The former Kepekepe player spent a few minutes on the ground before he started shouting, “I am free, I am free.” Before this act it is said Mushekwi was complaining of a knee injury but after Magaya prayed for him, all seems to be well for the striker.
“You can google and see what Mushekwi is doing now. He is scoring, his performance has improved,” said the popular man of God.
“You know that there are some teams that use juju and us as Zimbabweans we are not good on Juju issues,” Magaya added.
Mushekwi told Yadah TV, which is owned by Prophet Magaya that what happened was UNBELIEVABLE.
“It was unbelievable, I didn’t expect such things,” Mushekwi told Yadah TV . “I have been to so many churches, because of my career the same church you find here is not the same as you find in Belgium, South Africa or anywhere else. So when I heard about Prophet(Magaya), I thought everywhere around the world, the word of God is being preached.
“After my sister and mom encouraged me, I decided , let me take this leap of faith before I go back and I came here. But everything that happened here is unbelievable, I can’t explain it. Right now I am feeling good, I have not been feeling the pains that I have heard before. I hope to come again and give my testimony from the time I stepped here to the rest of my career.”
Magaya has recently been bailing out the national team financially so that they could fulfill their assignments.
