David Beckham has been crowned People’s magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2015.
The sexy sportsman is lusted after by women all around the world and often tops the list of best looking men, but this is the first time People have bestowed the prestigious title on him.“It’s a huge honour,” David smiled to the publication. “And I’m very pleased to accept.”
Despite his good looks, toned body and new title, David admits that he feels far from that way when it comes to looks.
“I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person,” he admitted. “I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way.”

When David was asked how wife Victoria, 41, reacted to the news, he replied with a shy smile.
“I would hope that she feels this way about me all the time anyway!” he laughed. “But she said, ‘Congratulations!’”
As well as a football career the British star has been a billboard regular, stripping to his underwear for Armani and H&M. He’s a prolific social media user too, and he took to Facebook and Instagram on Wednesday (18Nov15) to share the happy news.
“I thought I was past my sell by date but thanks to People Magazine for the accolade and the compliment!” he shared. “I always feel a little shy when receiving these Awards, though it will make my Mum happy. This one the kids will laugh at, as they see what Daddy looks like in the morning!”
