Louis van Gaal: Manchester United Want Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer

Manchester United Manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed his interest in bringing back Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo has been strongly linked with an exit from Real Madrid at the end of the season, and United have been mentioned as a possible destination.

PSG are currently the bookmakers favourites to sign the Portuguese superstar, but Red Devils boss Van Gaal has confirmed his interest.

‘Of course we would look,’ said the Dutchman.
‘He plays on the wings and he is fast and scores goals.

‘I don’t think there is a trainer in the world that doesn’t like him.

‘We are looking at all players, not just Ronaldo. But these players are mostly ungettable. With Ronaldo, let’s wait and hope.’

Ronaldo is 31 in February and the Mail on Sunday suggest he would cost £60million to sign – with wages in excess of £250,000-a-week.
