David Beckham may be the most recognisable footballer of the 21st century but the former England captain has made stunning revelations that he’s a bigger fan of rugby nowadays.

And Beckham, who said he always felt uneasy going to watch his beloved Manchester United as a kid, has revealed that the ‘nastiness’ between rival fans during football matches has led him to enjoying rugby more in his retirement.

‘I love watching it and I love the whole thing. I have enjoyed going to Twickenham more than I have enjoyed watching football.’
When Beckham was pushed on his reasons for favouring Rugby he replied: ‘People sitting together with no nastiness.’
