Gone, but not forgotten. Kim Kardashian is planning to pay tribute to her late father, Robert Kardashian, with her newborn son’s name, an insider tells Us Weekly.
“I know they were doing Robert for the middle name in honor of her father,” the insider says.
Famed O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert — who Kim’s younger brother, Rob Kardashian, is also named after — died of cancer in 2003, at the age of 59.

“He’s here!” she tweeted in the early hours of Saturday morning, along with a sweet photo of her and West, 38, holding hands.
As for the newborn baby’s first name?
“They had a list of names and were going to decide when he got here,” the insider adds. “I don’t know that they’ve decided on one yet.”
The A-list couple’s first child — 2-year-old daughter North West — does not have a middle name.
If the happy parents need help picking out a name for their son, the Twitterverse already has a favorite: Easton, which quickly began trending after the boy’s birth.
Kardashian did admit to Ellen DeGeneres in September that she isn’t against the name, which is a play on North.
“I do like the name Easton, Easton West,” she told DeGeneres. “I don’t think my husband likes that name, but I do like it. I don’t think we’ll go another direction. It’s definitely not South, every time someone says South, I just roll my eyes.”
