A Plumtree blind octogenarian suffered a rare stroke soon after allegedly raping his maid’s four-year-old daughter.
Mbizo Walton Ndlovu, 85, of Gasavu suburb this week appeared before magistrate Chrispen Mberewere facing rape charges.
He pleaded not guilty and was remanded out of custody.
Prosecutor Busani Moyo told the court that Ndlovu lured the girl into his bedroom and raped her once on February 27.

When the complainant’s mother went into the house she found the accused person naked while the complainant was lying on top of the bed.
The court further heard that this made the complainant’s mother suspicious and filed a police report.
After that, the complainant was rushed to hospital.
