Prof. Ngomo Horace Manga takes over from Dr. Nalova Lyonga Limunga as Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea. His appointed was made few minutes ago on National Station CRTV.
He replaces Dr Nalova Lyonga was goes on retirement. Meanwhile Ako Edward Oben has been appointed as Pro Chancellor of same University ,replacing Professor Maurice Tchuente .
Professor Ngomo is presently Secretary General at the Ministry of Higher Education.... Prior to his appointment, the new VC served as SG of the Ministry of Higher education, a position he got through a presidential decree on September 14, 2012. Prof. Ngomo Horace Manga, is an Associate Professor of Applied Chemical Engineering.
He obtained his PhD from the University of Lagos in 1990.
