We can’t verify this information but according to Akoson Pauline Diale, the minister of Communication and the government spokesman called to ask anglophones to stop demonstrating in front of Cameroonian embassies. Below is what she wrote.
Paul BIYA’s chief parrot, the rabble rousing ISSA Tchiroma Bakary placed a long call to the organiser of the Southern Cameroons UK Protest. In their chat, [the] La Republique’s Communication Minister said, in his own words;“…I will always apologise to every ‘anglophone’ for saying there wasn’t an ‘anglophone’ problem but after having studied the issue, I can now say there is an ‘anglophone’ problem.

But in his characteristic style of bite and blow politics, he contradicted himself by asking our people to table all their grievances to him and he will in turn table them to the Head of Government.
Indeed, the embassies of Cameroon in South Africa and Belgium received some manifestations some weeks ago from anglophones. They did not welcome the government’s idea of visiting the diaspora to explain the current situation in the SW and NW. They demanded them to go back home and settle the crisis with the jailed Consortium leaders.
