Two houses, belonging to the President of the now outlawed Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium, CACSC, Barrister Felix Agbor Nkongho, aka Agbor Balla, have been attacked by yet to be identified arsonists.
On October 29, Sunday morning, news of the arson attack on homes of the crusader for a two-state federation in Cameroon, spread on social media like wildfire.Attempts to have a word from Agbor Balla proved futile, and The Post only succeeded in getting a word from his Press Officer, Tilarious Atia, who, in a short sentence, said: “Balla is in shock and can’t make any statement at this time”.
At press time, it was confirmed that Agbor Balla’s home at his native Bakwelle Village was torched by arsonists and, an attempt was made on his Buea residence.

While many social media users are accusing campaigners for the Restoration of the Independence of Southern Cameroons, others still suggest and held the view that the act might have been orchestrated by “enemies of the Struggle” to turn the leader and his people against each other, as a strategy to cause infighting among Anglophones.
The arson attack received widespread condemnation from people all-over the nation and around the world, chastising those behind the hideous act for being cowardly and irrational.
Below is the transcribed interview granted the BBC by Agbor Balla. It is alleged that is the interview that caused uproar in the social media and might have spurred the arsonists to torch his property.
