President Paul Biya this day, Nov 13, 2017, signed a decree appointing Dr. Nalova Lyonga, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea, to the position of the Board Chairperson of the Douala General Hospital.
The same decree also appoints Mr. Essomba Asse Augustine as Board Chair of the Yaounde General hospital, and Mme Mohamadou née Bilitte Haman Djoda as Board Chair of the National Social Insurance Fund.

Dr. Nalova was sent on retirement on June 27 this year, following the high tension in the Campus, that paralyzed the institution, after she invited military thugs to the campus to rough handle students who were carrying out a peaceful protest on campus on November 21st, 2016.
