Breaking News - The Constitutional Council Rejects Maurice Kamto's Petition

The Constitutional Council has unanimously rejected the request of its members to revoke some of its members because of incompatibility. 

The board, in its argument, felt that the candidate Maurice Kamto is not qualified to make this request. According to President Clement Atangana, only the authority that appointed the council members can dismiss them.

Indeed, the candidate of the MRC for the presidency, Maurice Kamto has applied to the Constitutional Council for incompatibility of some of these members who are members of the ruling Central Committee of CPDM.

Maurice Kamto was supported in his approach by the Batoner Me Akere Muna with whom he formed a coalition on the eve of the presidential election.
