The government of Cameroon has shouldered the blame for the country’s inability to host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
During a pilot committee meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Head of government on Wednesday December 05, the committee admitted Cameroon’s lapses in preparing for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations which fored the Confederation of African Football to withdraw the hosting rights from te African Champions.

However, the pilot committee yesterday resolved to accept the 2021 proposal from Caf and the Prime Minister is expected to write to Caf in the days ahead.
It was equally concluded at the meeting that held at the Star Building that works will continue on the various sites so as to met the March 2019 deadline previously set by Caf.
