A campaign that supports Lorraine Guyo who recently shared a video of herself making a Valentine’s Day joke is gaining momentum.
After she was attacked and bullied for making what others deem an innocent video, Twitter and Facebook users have stood up to defend and support her cause.
“It was an innocent joke that we took too far and there was nothing wrong with it.
“What is wrong is the way people handled it, the bullying and defamation that she had to go through,” said her close friend Honest Rwodzi.
Moreover, a sex tape made circles with a girl that looked similar to her and people concluded that it was Lorraine in it.
This was however dismissed when it was proven that a Ghanaian was the one in the video which was uploaded to a Ghanaian website.

Under the hashtag “Lorraine Is Not Wrong”, twitter went abuzz with tweets and retweets of people condemning the abuse that she faced while others pleaded with private lawyers to help her in her case.
Facebook users ran with the theme ‘ I stand with Lorraine”, with people encouraging her to stay strong while others discouraged the masses against human rights infringement which they think was what Meikles did by suspending her.
Efforts to contact Lorraine were fruitless.
