Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi To Go Live On IG To Make Cards For Cleft Patients

Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi and Miss USA 2019 Chelsie Kryst will hold a live virtual card-making activity for cleft patients from Smile Train amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.


The two beauty queens will go live on Miss Universe's Instagram page on April 13 at 11 pm.

"This initiative aims to help spread smiles and raise awareness for cleft patients around the world," Smile Train Philippines' press statement read.

According to the organization, a baby is born with a cleft lip and/or cleft palate every three minutes even during the pandemic.

Other individuals can also participate in the activity by sending their cards to the Smile Train Philippines headquarters at 3/F Annex Building, 22 East Avenue, Diliman Quezon City.

Smile Train held speech therapy classes online from April 1 to 8 on Facebook live for cleft patients amid the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
