Boity Thulo is a South African actress who is best known for portraying the role of Mpho Bogatsu in Mzansi Magic’s ‘Rockville’ and for hosting club 808 an e.tv music program.
She is also a television personality, rapper, model, and businesswoman.
She attended Potchefsroom Girls high school and later joined Monas University to study Psychology and Criminology but unfortunately, Thulo dropped out due to lack of school fees.

Boity Thulo was born on 28th April 1990 in Potchefstroom, North West, South Africa and is the only daughter of Modiegi Thulo. Thulo was raised by her grandparents together with her aunt.She attended Potchefsroom Girls high school and later joined Monas University to study Psychology and Criminology but unfortunately, Thulo dropped out due to lack of school fees.

Thulo made her television debut when she presented the YOTV an educational show called ‘Crib Notes’ in 2011 and together with Stevie French, she hosted The Media Career guide show.She has been a host of different television shows such as club 808, Zoned and most importantly, she worked for Big Brother Africa as an online insert presenter.
In 2012, she played the role of ‘Mpho Bogatsu in the drama series ‘Rockville appearing in all the four seasons
She also played the role of ‘Betty’ in ‘Dear Betty’ a comedy short film.
Thulo started her rapping career on the Migos Culture Tour in South Africa on October 21, 2017, at TicketPro Dome. Since Migos delayed by a few hours, she joined Nasty C (one of the opening acts) to entertain the crowd while the trio was on their way.

On 30 August 2018, Thulo released her single “Wuz Dat”, featuring Nasty C a song that won at the 2018 South African Hip-Hop Awards for the category “Best Collabo”.
On 8 February 2019, she released her second single titled “Bakae”.
