Mzansi Magic announced that their popular telenovelas, which are broadcast daily, have resumed production, meaning viewers can look forward to new episodes in the near future.
On Thursday, 7 May 2020, Mzansi Magic announced that their daily soapies, The Queen, Isibaya, Gomora and The River, have resumed production after a five-week break. Mzansi Magic had to pause filming of their weekday shows due to the COVID-19-induced lockdown, which forced all television productions to be halted due to the prohibition of large gatherings.
