Sophie Lichaba (formerly Ndaba) is a multi-faceted media personality and businessperson. Lockdown has negatively affected her businesses and career plans like it has with just about everyone else.
However, the Lockdown star knows that destiny delayed isn't destiny denied.
Speaking to Afternoon Express, Sophie said:
“As a businessperson, events have come to a halt, whether you like it or not. My husband and I, as you know, own restaurants and chesa nyamas, that had to be cut to a total standstill.”
Sophie also pointed out that filming had also stopped on drama series and said that scripts would have to be rewritten in the future to accommodate physical distancing and other safety precautions on set.

Despite this, the star is making the most of her time at home and said she is focusing on reconnecting with herself.
Last week, Briefly.co.za reported that Sophie was also considering venturing into property development.
The former Generations cast member has been spending some of her lockdown time learning more about the industry.
Another star who has diversified is gospel singer Thinah Zungu, who recently opened his own construction company.
