Pia Wurtzbach was once again invited by reigning Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi to talk about her advocacy in a live video call.
Wrapping up the Pride Month celebrations, Wurtzbach shared her passion for LGBTQIA rights with Tunzi, with their conversation made public through the social media pages of Miss Universe.
Wurtzbach said she has been supportive of the LGBTQIA community her whole life as she considers many of them her family in the Philippines.
Aside from updating Tunzi about her online discussions on LGBTQIA-related issues, she also talked about the push for the passage of SOGIE Equality Bill in the country, as well as the recent arrest of Pride Month demonstrators in Manila.
"I saw the pictures and they were practising social distancing. They were being responsible, they were being careful, they followed all the protocols. I don't think they were breaking any rules, really," she said.
Later on in the call, the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder happily told Tunzi that the 20 arrested activists have been released.
"Thank you, Zozi, for your time and for inviting me again," she told the South African beauty queen.
Tunzi, for her part, said: "You're welcome. I wanted to end it with you because I do know you're such an avid advocate for LGBTQIA rights."

Wurtzbach was one of the first guests in Tunzi's live video call series, which started amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
In the livestream back in April, Tunzi praised Wurtzbach for her online fundraiser for medical frontliners in Metro Manila.
