South Africa's biggest talent reality show idols is back on our screens and premiered on the 2nd of August 2020.
the show has been running since 2002 and it's currently on its 16th season, promising to turn our living rooms into front row seats of the biggest entertainment spectacle, enough to make us forget about our lockdown woes.
When the long-awaited show that earlier this years during the beginning of the lockdown was rumoured to will not air this due to the COVID-19 pandemic finally aired, it became the most talked about and trending topic throughout the entire social media atmosphere.
The show got off to a good start as it brought about all kinds of surprises with the biggest being when Somizi had to strip down to his underwear and run across the whole building after losing a bet he had made.
Among all the interesting acts that came in to audition with the hopes of being the next big idol, one specific individual grabbed the attention of the viewers, the judges, and other individuals who had come to audition. This young lady's name is Sibabalwe Tunzi, yes you guessed it, she is Ms Universe Zozibini Tunzi's younger sister.

Zozibini is the second child of Mrs Lungisa and Mr Philiswa Tunzi's four children. Zozibini has an older sister Yanga who's 30 years old, two younger sisters Sibabalwe 24 and Ayakha 13. The 24-year-old Sibabalwe is the one who graced the idols audition studios to showcase her talent, and the judges were caught off-guard and excitedly surprised when she mentioned she was Miss Universe's younger sister.
Sibabalwe's audition got a golden ticket which means judges were impressed and she would most definitely proceed to the next level of the audition as the show would later move into the theatre week. Sibabalwe's golden ticket moment was one very special to her as she was amongst the other 31 hopefuls that had been given four yesses to can proceed into the next round of the show.
While Sibabalwe was celebrating, Twitter was abuzz with all types of emotions, tweeps were saying Sibabalwe was undeserving of the golden ticket as she had no singing talent at all, and only got the ticket because she was Miss universe' sister if she had not mentioned that, she would have never gone through. Twitter users were furious and taking idols into comparison with the ruling party amid the recent looting allegations, saying the talent show is as corrupt and biased as Sibabalwe's win was pure nepotism, even going to the extent of throwing Cassper Nyovest under the bus, saying he only said yes to see Sibabalwe because he personally has a crush on Miss Universe.
