Must Read: Misred Responds To Critics Accusing Her Of Showing Too Much Leg!

Bubbly radio and television personality Misred, real name Samantha Musa, has responded to critics who accuse her of dressing inappropriately and showing off too much leg.

This comes after the media personality came under criticism from a social media user who accused her showing her “bedroom tools” to the whole world. The social media user, who uses the Twitter handle @prchibs, decided to illustrate her point by using a picture in which Misred was posing during a photoshoot.

@prchibs then juxtaposed an image that she had edited to cover Samantha’s legs next to the original picture and captioned it saying,

The Problem and The Solution! (There is no need to show your bedroom tools to the whole world!!!)

After more than 12 hours, Misred responded to the post in a rather unassuming way. She just responded with “Ehoi Mai Maria”, “Yes Mother Mary” and posted another image in which she appears to be kicking into the air, and thus showing off her leg.

While the reactions to Misred’s post were mixed, it seems that the majority of comments were in support of Misred and against the social media user who came for her. Many took issue with @prchins for labelling women’s bodies as “bedroom tools” arguing that the sentiments perpetuated harmful stereotypes and misogynistic attitudes.

Below is how some Zimabewans reacted to the attack on Misred as well as her response.
