Neymar who currently plays for Paris-Saint-Germain in the French League has joined millions of football fans across the world to mourn the death of legendary Diego Maradona.
Diego Maradona who was one of the best strikers during his active playing time died last week Wednesday after suffering a heart attack in his house according to various reports.
The Brazilian explained that although he met the Argentine a great many times before he died, but added that it was more glorious when he was young.
Years back, Diego Maradona travelled to Brazil to feature in a legends game as faced the likes of 1994 World Cup Brazilian winning captain Dunga.
According to the report on Daily Mail, Neymar who was a young player then with Santos claimed that he travelled in the same bus with Diego Maradona who shared jokes with him.
''I had just a few contacts with Maradona, but I'll never forget the one when I was 12 or 13 years old.
''I was just starting at Santos and I went to watch a show match between Brazil and Argentina which was a game between former players.

''I even have a photo with Maradona, from when I was a little. He called me over to take that picture. I'll never forget his gesture.
''On the pitch, he was an icon for everybody, sure. For me as well, but I've always respected him as an athlete and as a footballer. I will never forget that.''
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Carlos Ferro Viera who is a close friend of late Argentine football legend Diego Maradona claimed that his pal has another two children who are living with their mother in Spain.
Viera lived in Cuba with the 1986 World Cup winner after he moved to the Caribbean island in February 2000.
According to the report, Viera claimed that Diego Maradona dated during his stay and had two children even though re refused to reveal their names.
Interestingly, Carlos Ferro Viera was reported to have identified the name of the mother as Laura Cibilla.
