In his lifetime, he groomed other servants of God including Reverend Oliver Chipunza, the president of the Inter-Denominational School of Deliverance. Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa of the United Family International passed through his hands.
“From the time I was old enough to reason, I began to admire his walk; a walk I can best describe as blameless and upright, a model Christian walk. As I grew up, I had a chance to watch him minister at crusades. His passion and focus were evident every time he stood to take up the microphone,” Prophet Makandiwa testified about the late Evangelist in 2011.
Evangelist Chiweshe left a permanent mark in the Christian community, recording thought-provoking sermons on DVDs, cassettes and CDs which are still common today. Among his greatest sermons are Baba Vebenzi, Tsano Handeyi and Mufambiro Wakaora.
The couple was blessed with three children.
