Controversial rapper and dancer Kikky Badass has once again hogged the limelight with the release of her latest music video for Simudza Gumbo Crooger featuring GT Beats.
Explicitly, raunchy and strip-teasing best describes the video which features vixens clad in body hugging outfits shaking their bums throughout the 2-minute 53 seconds video directed by Nicom Muza.
However, the bum shaking and explicit lyrics doesn’t overshadow the lyrical prowess of Kikky Badass who comes through with her trademark braggadocios lines.
The title comes from the liberation war’s chant and song Simudza Gumbo which was used to motivate the fighters who fought the colonial regime. In this instance Kikky Badass and her vixens are not at war, but at a party.

The late dancehall chanter died shortly after releasing another raunchy music video with the same title with vixens in body hugging suits shaking their behinds but not as explicitly and ‘dirty’ as Kikky’s act.
One would be tempted to say Kikky might have finished what Soul Jah Love started six months ago.
What the two songs have in common is hidden explicit language and lyrics, something which became synonymous with the two artistes.
Kikky is no stranger to controversy and showing too much skin in music videos. She has done that on Body Conversations which was described as ‘soft porn’ by many fans. She also hogged the limelight as vixen on Enzo Ishal’s 5O Magate. www.thestandard.co.zw
