HARARE – Dozens of people jostled against each other on Friday to catch a glimpse of Beverly “Bev” Sibanda’s new boutique at the Kwame Nkrumah Mall in Harare. |

The former Sexy Angels dance group leader quit the dance floor after Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya used a Sunday service in January to tell her to stop dancing in pubs and promised to help her open a clothing shop in the capital.
“I was at home with my manager when I received a phone call from Prophet Magaya’s aides advising me to attend the church service. We drove to Waterfalls where I was advised to stop dancing in pubs and beer halls. Prophet Magaya said he was going to help me open a clothing shop in the CBD,” Beverly said at the time.

“Apart from that, Prophet Magaya said his team has since purchased a container from China with the clothes I am going to sell. I cried because I never anticipated it from the Man of God. I also asked myself why he chose me front the entire congregation,” narrated Beverly.
“To be honest, I have quit dancing and I am now serving my Lord God. I can’t afford to oppose the man of God’s prophecy. I started attending church a fortnight ago and I feel blessed. I am now a new creature and I hope to continue serving my Lord. I was astray but I am now saved thank God for his love.”
