United Family International Church founder and leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has once again challenged those claiming he is not a true man of God to expose him.
Speaking during a church service at the City Sports Centre last week, Prophet Makandiwa dismissed claims by Ghanaian prophets and traditionalists about him being evil.
“It is not fruitful to say that I am fake when you do not take action to test me. I think we have professional witch- doctors in our country registered with ZINATHA who are very powerful and also men of God, why can’t either side come to prove my false works?” he said.
He quoted Acts 8:9, a scripture about Simon, a sorcerer from Samaria who made the nation believe that he was powerful when he was not.
“Some people who have accused me of using evil powers actually consult n’angas themselves. Why then do they not want to come here if they truly believe I use the same powers as n’angas? Why are they not comfortable? It shows you they know the truth,” said Prophet Makandiwa.
“If you know of a powerful witchdoctor, bring him here and what happens will tell you we are from totally different kingdoms and this should be done in the presence of cameras.” This comes at a time when a number of publications have been carrying stories on how Prophet Makandiwa and his friend Spirit Embassy leader Prophet Eubert Angel were going to be exposed for their evil practices.
The Telescope News reported that a delegation of pastors from Ghana were visiting Zimbabwe in May to “expose” Prophet Makandiwa. It is alleged the delegation has evidence against the two prophets and want to shut down UFIC and have its key leaders arrested for trickery and evil practices.
UFIC spokesperson Pastor Prime Kufakunesu said it was a fact that Prophet Makandiwa is a man of God.
“Everyone out there knows that Prophet Makandiwa is a true man of God and has thrown this challenge to his critics and no one has taken it up,” he said. “You have to understand that he is a brand and people would obviously try to make names for themselves by speaking about such a brand, either positively or negatively.”
“People will just say anything to be noticed, even if it is nonsensical. Their reasoning does not make sense at all. Just wait and see, May will come and go and no one will pitch up.”
