Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have split and are heading straight for a divorce.
Rumors of their split have been circulating online over the past few weeks. But last week Cannon confirmed that the rumors are indeed true.
“There is trouble in paradise,” Cannon told The Insider during an interview on August 21, 2014.
“We have been living in separate houses for a few months,” the America’s Got Talent host added.
Nick Cannon have been living with his grand parents for the last few weeks. According to TMZ, the couple has been having a toxic relationship over the last six months before Nick Cannon abruptly pulled the plug and moved out of their family home.
Things reportedly got really bad when Nick Cannon went on Big Boi Radio show in March and revealed five famous women that he has slept with including Kim Kardashian and Nicole Scherzinger.
Mariah Carey felt humiliated and went nuclear on Cannon.
Sources say the couple’s divorce is a done deal and they have already put their Bel-Air mansion on the market for $13 million.
Nick Cannon, 33, and Mariah Carey, 44, got married in April, 2008. The couple welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011.

James told Page Six that Nick Cannon never cheated on Mariah Carey even though he could have.
“The only thing I can say is that sometimes marriages break down because of cheating or beating, but that’s not this case. Were temptations ever there with other women? Not for Nick, he genuinely loved the married life.”
“But did that stop other women coming to him? Probably not.
