Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has finally responded to online news doing circles that some Ghanaian pastors have advised the Zimbabwean Head of state, President Robert Mugabe to arrest him and subsequently get bulldozers to ram down the new Chitungwiza church construction.
In what seemed to be a free online refresher course on content creation and sifting, Prophet Makandiwa wondered how Zimbabweans can be taken for granted by online blogs who lack basic fact finding tactics and poor editorial policies, where shockingly, some gullible Zimbabweans use these websites as their source of information.

Speaking during yesterday` Sunday main service, Prophet Makandiwa wondered why these blogs keep writing of his arrest and the coming of Ghananian pastors, one year after the threat, and its still news that excites some readers.
“Its only a 5 hour flight from Ghana to Zimbabwe, and i wonder why these people have taken over a year to come and get me arrested , what`s even more shocking is the fact that they say my father who comes from Ghana uses Juju so they want me arrested, but why have they not first arrested my father then come for me later!
According to our investigation, the online rumours were sparked by some “copy and paste” bloggers, who rarely write any new story but rely on news from established media houses where they only make an online rake, to compile leading stories on their portals.
The mischief could have been created first by my Zimbabwe.com, on 7 February 2014 ( a post they have already deleted from their website, though we have a cached file) before their side kick Nehanda .com amplified the story 2 days later on the 9th of February, and another copy and paste blog called iHarare also claimed to be the official source of information.
Iharare.com, has always been at the fore front of spreading unfounded and ridiculous anti Makandiwa propaganda, which only insane readers have taken seriously as their stories have proved to be nothing but intentional malice, with an open agenda to destroy Makandiwa at any cost.
iHarare had the audacity to write this
Prophet Makandiwa said that when the ministry started growing, filling up the overflow tents, he decided that he needed a mentor to guide him ahead of the huge task.
“When i first introduced myself to Prophet Victor Boateng, i said Papa I want to you to be my mentor, because of the magnitude of the work God has given me i said that i want to be a man under authority, help me, take me under leadership.
Should I fall under grace, there has to be a person to take me off the pulpit and discipline me!”
Prophet makandiwa`s father, Prophet Victor Boateng is also a son to renowned Archbishop Duncan Williams who is well respected in the religious circles.
In one of his sermons, Prophet Makandiwa once said I paid thousands of dollars as a sacrifice offering and prayed before God to take my life away 5 years before I commit any sin.
Today these online blogs have resumed the same allegations that these Ghananian pastors are still coming to Zimbabwe for their mission and have alleged that its game over for Makandiwa.

We first reported in February 2014, that a group of Ghana pastors, mainly from Sekondi-Takoradi twin cities, had fallen out with Makandiwa and Angel’s spiritual father called, Victor Kusi Boateng also from Ghana, and had decided to meet President Robert Mugabe, to expose the duo who are accused of using dangerous voodoo and occult powers to lure and entrap gullible worshipers.Nehanda Radio, a supposedly professional media house by self exiled Zimbabwean had this rather sickening write up:
The strong muti or ngorongoro voodoo is also believed to be the source of their unexplainable wealth, which has seen Angel winning contracts in America, with Makandiwa who does not have known business qualifications or skills, boasting of owning stocks on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
It emerged last week, that the head of the Ghanaian delegation, Lawrence Ajoba, was warned not to prematurely visit the country together with his fellow pastors until tensions eased, as it was “unsafe” due to the “anger and wrath they could meet upon arrival in Zimbabwe”, as some loyalists and followers of the two dubious prophets had vowed to beat them up, if they set foot in Harare.
The other hallmarks of fake prophets is that, they do not built churches, but instead pitch tents forever or hire public halls, since their operations are short-lived. These con man are also into business. How can you serve two masters at once if you have a genuine calling? Above all they do not preach about the second coming of Jesus Christ, the endtimes or New Jerusalem. So Makandiwa is definately in trouble.”While it is common knowledge that Prophet Makandiwa is currently building one the biggest churches in Zimbabwe, it defeats common sense to see editors who allow such malice to be propagated through their media houses.
