Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke last week lashed out at hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj over her comments on the Eric Garner decision.
Minaj on Tuesday lamented that the grand jury did not to indict the New York City police officer who used a chokehold on a black man.
"It's sickening, and I've been reading so many people saying, 'Why are we surprised?' That's what's really sad: that we should somehow be used to being treated like animals," Minaj told Rolling Stone. "It's gotten to the point where people feel like there's no accountability: If you are law enforcement and you do something to a black person, you can get away with it."
On his radio show last week, Duke launched into a rant responding to Nicki Minaj.
"Why do people blame blacks like Minaj?” he asked, according to Time. "Because Minaj wouldn’t be a pimple on somebody’s rear end except for the fact that she is promoted by the Jewish record producers and the media, the mass media, the powerful media, that promotes absolute degenerates like her."
Duke also addressed reports that House Majority Whip Steve Scalise spoke at an event for Duke's white nationalist group in 2002.
"He came and actually just spoke to his local constituents about one of his tax bills, and they are trying to make it out like this is a big deal," Duke said about Scalise's speech.
