Reigning Miss World Zimbabwe Emily Kachote will have to wait a bit longer to hear whether she will retain her crown as the Miss Zimbabwe Trust chairperson Marry Chiwenga is yet to meet her.
For the second year running, the Miss World Zimbabwe pageant has been plunged into controversy after reports of the beauty queen's indecent pictures, supposedly circulating on social media, emerged this week.
"The verdict will not be out today, but next week. We shall advise people of the final decision as we haven't sat down and discussed the issue," said Chirau.
The nation has been waiting with bated breath to learn of Kachote's fate. She becomes the second beauty queen in a row to face possible dethronement after Catherine Makaya who was dethroned last year for her unbecoming behaviour.
