PROPHETIC Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries founder Walter Magaya said he is mobbed whenever he goes for shopping and as such, has decided to now do it online.
“Whenever I go for leisure or shopping, people jostle for divine deliverance and the situation if not controlled usually ends up in chaos,” said the youthful celebrity preacher. “I shop for clothes and other goods online to avoid creating commotion in the society.”
He told this publication that church business is now the order of his day. “Of late I have chosen to spend my time on church business as I no longer have social life”
Magaya said he is on demand in the region hence has no social life as his church ministry keeps him captive. “Most of the countries in Africa are inviting us to hold crusades there and these include Namibia, Botswana, South Africa and Mauritius among others. The surge in demand has left me with no social life.”
Next month, Magaya will hold a mega crusade in Botswana. The maiden regional tour in Gaborone will be on July 2 to 4 where he expects thousands to attend the event.
“We did our research a couple of weeks ago and got an overwhelming response. If all goes well, we are targeting to lure not less than 500 000 people.”
Botswana’s total population is estimated at around two million.
Magaya was supposed to start his regional crusades with South Africa but the plans were shelved due to the recent xenophobic attacks.
