There is a growing feeling in the local Dancehall circles that chanter’s Seh Calaz and Soul Jah LOve are ganging up against Killer T in a bid to dethrone him.
Killer T has been on top of his game buoyed by the massive success of his album Ngoma Ndaimba.
There were claims that Soul Jah Love and Calaz are working on a joint album titled Conquering Bandit following their reunion.
Seh Calaz’s manager, Godfrey ‘vocal’ Vakasa was quick to dismiss the claims.
“We are working on the album and we will take out time to release it.
“We don’t want to appear as if we want to silence another person’s project or appear as if the combination is to challenge another person,” he spoke on the sidelines of the Charly Black gig on Saturday.
Calaz Soul Jah Love and Kinna’s set at the gig became the best for music lovers that it eclipsed other artistes.
Killer T’s absence during the trio’s performances, despite them calling him up, entrenched the thoughts
Organisers are rubbishing the claims saying it was part of the plan.
Calaz and Jah Love had a similar act when they performed in South Africa where their union was initially displayed to the public.
Charly Black gave a polished act and Killer T delivered his best but it was the Mbare trio’s performance that left many delirious with excitement.
Killer T appeared on stage and hailed the trio just after the left the stage.
