AFRO-jazz sensation, Pah Chihera, who sunk into oblivion after releasing the chart-buster album, Ndirwo rudo two years ago, is set to revive her waning music career by releasing second album titled, Mbavha yerudo end of this month.
The six-track album will feature man-of-the moment and word-smith Jah Prayzah on the title track, Mbavha yerudo. Other tracks on the album are Handibve pano, Ukandisiya, Nhasi Ndiripo, featuring Macdee and an acoustic version for Ukandisiya.Pah Chihera and Jah Prayzah Engage |
Songs on the album were produced by Munya Vialy, DJ Mbali and Macdonald “Macdee” Chidavaenzi.
“We finished working on the album and it will hit the streets soon. We took our time to come up with this project because we did not want to come up with a half-baked project. My main theme on all songs is love and unity. I would like to thank our fans for being patient. We never stopped holding live shows. We have been belting out the new tracks during live shows and we are happy with the response,” she said.
Chihera rocked the airwaves two years ago with her hit track Ndirwo rudo which features another talented musician Prince Musarurwa.
She has staged successful shows in the UK and Dubai as well as on local turfs. - See more at: http://www.manicapost.com/pah-chihera-engages-jah-prayzah/#sthash.KUEswCA5.dpuf
