Cristiano Ronaldo Decides To Reject Paris St-Germain For Sensational Man United Return

Cristiano Ronaldo's imminent return to Manchester United is drawing closer by the day. The Sunday Mirror say the Portuguese superstar has decided to act with his heart and make an emotional Old Trafford homecoming in the summer.

Paris St-Germain were keen to offer astronomical wages to Ronaldo, but he's prepared to earn less in order to secure a dream Premier League return.

The Mirror say the 30-year-old is ready to reject PSG's monster offer of £500,000-a-week.

While United will still pay him handsomely, Ronaldo is prepared to take the financial hit for the prestige of playing in the Premier League.

The forward is said to be unconvinced by the challenge of the French top flight.

Real are apparently resigned to losing Ronaldo in the summer and they're keen to recoup as much of the £80m they paid for him in 2009 as possible.

Current Reds boss Louis van Gaal admitted he would love to sign Ronaldo if possible.
