According Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, a reputable source if ever there was one, Kanye West spends $500 (£326) a day on having his head shaved. That comes to $255,799 (£167,000) a year. |

He told Heat: ‘It’s crazy. Kanye gets a haircut every day. He pays his barber $500 a time. I don’t understand how that much hair gets taken off. Kanye just loves the fresh look.’
Fenty traveled on tour with Rihanna so he experienced this shearing ritual first hand.
And the man who does the deed has confirmed the veracity of these claims.
Apparently scissorsmith Ibn Jasper moved from Chicago to New York as His Majesty didn’t like anyone else touching his noggin.
‘Whenever he was wearing [his] orange hat, it meant he’d gotten a f****d-up cut in NYC,’ Ibn laughed.
‘He asked me to move to NYC and I told him, “When you can pay me what I make in the shop, then I’ll move.”‘
