The court, led by Prosecutor Audrey Mupini, heard that sometime after the alleged rape of July 16 2015, the complainant sent a WhatsApp message to Gaadzikwa of Greendale in Harare and informed him that she had fallen pregnant.
Gaadzikwa disputed that and told the complainant that it could not be because he wore two condoms on the two occasions that they had sex.
He said although he did not wear a condom on the third occasion occasion, he used the withdrawal method to avoid pregnancy.
"I fell in love with the complainant in April, during the Easter holidays. We visited a lot of places together during our relationship. From Aprilto July, we have been sending love messages to each other via WhatsApp," said Gaadzikwa.
Both Beatrice and her sister confirmed that there were two packets of condoms that were found by the Police at the scene of the alleged rape.
It emerged in the court that Gaadzikwa has a pending bribery case at the Harare Magistrates Court.
The sister to the complainant told the court that Gaadzikwa, who claims to be a prophet, tried to lure them for an out of court settlement on the rape case.
"He gave us money but the money was immediately taken away by the Police to be produced as exhibit at the Harare Magistrates Courts," said the complainant.
Regional Magistrate Solomon Jenya remanded Gaadzikwa out of custody to December 10 2015 for jusdgement.
It is the State case that on July 16 201, Gaadzikwa drove his motor vehicle, together with the complainant for 20 kilometres along Harare-Masvingo highway before turning right towards Marirangwe Road to Caroline Wilderness Farm.
He later stopped the car at a bushy area, came out and told the complainant to follow him further into the bush.
It is alleged that he forcibly caused the complainant to lie onto the ground and removed her panties before raping her once.
After the intercourse, Gaadzikwa dragged the complainant back to the car. On their way back to Harare, he told the complainant to keep the incident a secret and to mantain their usual relationship of 'father and daughter'.
