A hooker was slapped with a two months’ jail term after she stole clothes and groceries that belonged to a client`s wife after he refused to pay $20 for her services.
Patience Tsamba of Sakubva recently appeared before magistrate Langton Mukwengi facing theft charges.
Mukwengi suspended the prison sentence on condition that Tsamba restitute Evermay Ruwonde $88 and also noting that she was not paid for her services.
“I will not make you pay a fine because you were not paid for your services and you are a first offender,” said magistrate Mukwengi.
Prosecutors told the court that Tsamba agreed to go and spend the night with Ruwonde` husband and she charged $20.
The two went to Ruwonde residence in Penhalonga and had s.ex during the night for which Tsamba was reportedly paid $20 she charged.

The stolen items included clothes, shoes, two litres cooking oil, 2 kg surf and a Nokia Asha phone worth $138. Goods worth $50 were recovered.
Ruwonde reported the matter to the police leading to Tsamba`s arrest.
