Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has responded to Sergio Aguero’s rather shocking revelation that he plans to rejoin Independiente when his Manchester City contract expires.

“I do not want to make my comeback when I am too old.
“If everything goes well, I will return to the club of my heart at the age of 31.”
Aguero signed a new five-year deal at City last year, keeping him at the club until 2019.
Discussing the 27-year-old's exit plan, Pellegrini said: “That is so far away, so many years more that it doesn’t matter.
“He is a fan of Independiente from when he was a small boy.”
