THE brother of a girl who was allegedly raped is shocked after discovering his father was having sex with his young sister for the past five years.
The 31-year-old man from Soweto said the ordeal started in 2009. When his mum died, he realised that his father couldn’t take it.
“My father had been talking about how he needed someone to replace my mum,” said the man.
“He kept telling my sister and I that she reminded him of our mum.

“He said she would be the perfect replacement for her.
“We didn’t fully understand what he meant by this.”
The man’s sister confessed to a bishop that her ordeal began in 2010.
Tests conducted at a local clinic confirmed that the girl had been raped.
Constable Vincent Masheting said the suspect (55) appeared at the Protea Glen Magistrates Court on a charge of incest.
