Prince passed away over a week ago and the cause of his death is still a mystery. However investigators are looking into the possibility that he may have died from a drug overdose.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed reports that prescription drugs were found at his home, but refused to give details on exactly what they were.
It has been claimed that the Purple Rain singer had been addicted to the painkiller Percocet after taking it to relieve hip pain, but this is yet to be confirmed.

‘We’re continuing to investigate the circumstances of Prince’s death,’ Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud of the Carver County Sheriff’s Department told E! News.
‘The ME [Medical Examiner] will provide toxicology results with her findings. I expect it to be a few weeks before we have her report(s).’

The news emerged as a man claiming to be the late star’s secret love-child came forward in the hopes of making a claim against his $300million estate.
According to Mail Online, a firm named Heir Hunters International – which specialises in genealogical research and finding heirs around the world – say they’ve been contacted by a man who believes Prince was his father.
The unnamed ‘lovechild’ in said to be in his 30s and from Minnesota, Prince’s hometown.

Although Prince and his former wife Mayte Garcia had a son named Boy Gregory, who died a week after his birth in 1996, he had no other known children.
His sister Tyka Nelson recently filed paperwork at a Minneapolis court asking to be appointed executor for the estate of the music legend, who died without a will.
