Prophet Makandiwa is a man mightily used by God. Twice this year God has used this prophet to avert an aircraft related disaster. Makandiwa who leads United Family International Church (UFIC), has recently given precise prophesies that have had an international significance.
He recently gave a prophecy regarding the British Airways plane outlining an impending disaster at Heathrow Airport. Makandiwa has been on record as having revealed prophesies that have saved lives of high ranking people and prevented disasters.
On the 26th of February, Prophet Makandiwa revealed through prophecy that he had seen a British airways plane coming down at Heathrow Airport. Makandiwa further stated that the incident was a very rare development. He specifically mentioned that this would happen at the airport, explaining that he had seen smoke coming out of Heathrow Airport.
In confirmation of the prophesy, on the 17th of April, a British airways jet carrying 132 passengers collided with an unmanned craft (Drone) as it prepared to land at Heathrow.
By God’s grace prophet Makandiwa had foreseen this potential calamity and had urged his church to remember Heathrow in their prayers. The intercessory prayers were indeed answered. The Airbus landed without calamity even after a mid-air collision with a drone.

He said he saw in the vision, the Ramaphosa family in turmoil as they were searching for “something that had taken off which was not supposed to take off.” Prophet Makandiwa saved the life of RSA Deputy President
He pointed out that the matter would have something to do with re-mapping (the tweaking of engines for better performance) and would be linked to an airborne disaster.
Prophet Makandiwa specified in the prophesy that the South African deputy president, Cyril Ramaphosa, should not fly as the aircraft he would fly with had hidden technical faults, and if it took off, Ramaphosa would die.
Three days later, Ramaphosa who was scheduled to visit several different venues announced that his appearances would be cancelled because of mechanical problems that had affecting his aircraft.
On March 21, 2016 the prophecy was confirmed as was evidenced by the South Africa media who reported that Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa’s trip to Uitenhage, Eastern Cape was cancelled due to technical issues.
His plane it was reported was ‘apparently experiencing some technical difficulties.
Notwithstanding all these demonstrations of the hand of God and the usefulness of his servants the prophets, some people are still in the habit of calling these prophets fake and speaking ill of the prophets particularly Zimbabweans and the media specifically.
Sceptic, Cynic and your everyday Critic
Onward Christian Radio’s editor Brilliant Pongo, explained why he thinks some Zimbabweans are so reproachful with regards the prophets.
“There is a fundamental difference between a sceptic, cynic and your everyday critic. You see there are people who hate the servants of God, the comments they make about the servants of God, are influenced by hate and driven by jealousy. The anger that some of these people express is not particular to a specific prophet but the prophetic ministry in general; and at times Christianity as a whole. Those are your cynics. they generally believe that people are motivated purely by self-interest rather than acting for honourable or unselfish reasons. Indeed your misanthropists, your scoffers, all in the same category as your disparagers.
These people have told themselves that they will not believe any of the servants of God even if they see evidence of the working of God. We have many who fall into this category; they never look at what God has done through his prophets, but they opt to focus on the person of the prophet or servant of God. They elect to detract from the miracles and the demonstration of God’s power and focus on the price of the watch or shoe worn by the servant of God.
Then you have your sceptics, these are your doubting Thomas’. these are inclined to question or doubt all accepted opinions. They question everything, they always demand proof but even when the proof or evidence is placed before them, they choose to disbelieve, opting to continue questioning. It almost looks as though they are just programmed to question and disbelieve. One would even hazard to think that if these questioners/sceptics could be given a chance, some would not even believe their own names even though they respond to the names and see it on their birth certificates. Now how do you even convince that type of person to believe the word of a prophet, let alone that a prophet is a mouth piece of God?
The critics are a much better lot. This is where the hunger to learn sometimes springs from. Critics question but, in most cases they have good intentions. They mostly want to know. They seek to interrogate in order to understand, their curiosity is driven by a hope to prove something wrong or expose its faults. They oppose in the hope to hold to account. Journalists are naturally in this category. Critics interrogate all possibilities with a somewhat open mind, hoping that once facts and evidence are adduced they acknowledge them. Indeed a critic is one who expresses a reasoned opinion on any matter especially involving a judgement of its value, truth, righteousness, beauty or technique.
However, the same cannot be said for sceptics and cynics because they take a position way before facts and evidence, are adduced and thus, they disregard them. “
