God’s servants have the power to pronounce a curse or a blessing; the word they speak in that pronouncement has power it is a word backed by God it is God’s word.
The Word of God exists as a reality and has within itself the power of its own fulfilment. Formal words of blessing or cursing also have the same power of self-fulfilment. When Isaac mistakenly blessed Jacob rather than Esau, he could not recall the blessing, for it existed in history (Genesis 27:18-41 ); it had acquired an identity of its own. Blessing and cursing release supra-human powers which bring to pass the content of the curse or the blessing pronounced.
Apostle Johnson Suleman, the Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), with headquarters in Auchi, Edo State and President of Celebration TV has pronounced a curse on Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, over his directive that pastors and churches must have licences to preach.
The video clip below inspired me to write this article, Apostle Suleman boldly, warned Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai “to reverse the threat to Christianity in his state or face the wrath of God and die”
“Revoke your law or die!”
We know that there were angels given unto priest, prophets and kings in the Old Testament that defend them and their cause.
Servants of God Have The Power to Bless and to Curse |
This is a warning to those whom consider there will be no consequences to your negative actions toward the work of God or his servants. There is nothing a prophet can do to remedy your situation once God gives judgement and a curse is upon you. The prophet or servant of God is powerless to amend the wrath of an angry God for when you smite his anointed you have smite God Almighty himself.
A prophet can, themselves, do no harm with their words to anyone or thing. However, if the Lord gives a command for that prophet to speak or prophesy a curse, that word will surely come to pass.
There are times when a person comes against the work or servants of God. In such instances God will unleash His vengeance upon that person.
“So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. And the people kept shouting, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.” Acts 12:21-23
Now, you may say that is only by chance this happened. I differ with that thought. Would God do such a thing? When in the book of Acts, Herod was given honour by the people and was acclaimed as being a god. It is recorded that the Holy Spirit struck him with worms and he died.
Be Careful not to speak ill of God’s servants
The Prophet Elisha in 2 Kings 2:23-24 was being taunted by a group of children who called him bald headed there upon he cursed the children then 2 female bears came and mauled the 42 children. Calling the prophet bald headed was a sign of their rejection of God. Therefore be careful of what you speak about prophet’s which are God’s anointed as your words could turn deadly.
It is the actually the individual that utters the words against God’s anointed that pronounces the curse against themselves that produces the Judgement of God so be careful of your words.
In Matthew it reads that “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive prophet’s reward” (Matthew 10:41). Then those that give aid to a prophet they shall receive a prophet’s reward, but woe to those that steal from or give utterances against a prophet for they too shall have their reward when the Judgement of God comes against them which they will lose the thing they love the most in this life or what they fear the most comes upon them.
Heed this warning and do no evil toward God’s anointed servants especially his prophets. There are those that consider such statements as the unforgivable sin and as the Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit and Mark 3: 29 say, “Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.”
Once the words are uttered from your mouth then you have blasphemed the Holy Spirit that delivered the prophecy to the prophet, your words cannot be unspoken or undone. The Prophet is without the ability to undo the curse. The Prophet is powerless and there is nothing a Prophet can do, to undo, the Judgement of God.
Be careful of the words you speak. Think before you give utterance. THE WORDS THAT COMETH OUT OF YOUR OWN MOUTH can seal your fate.God’s anointed Prophets are not to be insulted or ridiculed.
