A PLUMTREE magistrate has granted a 66-year-old man from Mangwe dissolution of his marriage to his wife of 45 years.
The court heard the couple last had sex 19 years ago.
Mr Adolph Mpofu who stays in Maninji area told the court that he was prepared to lose all his property as long as he separates with Mrs Pauline Mpofu (63).
"I'm completely fed up with this woman. I'm prepared to pay any price to be free from her. I can give her all the property that she wants. I can even give her everything that I have worked for as long as I get my divorce," he said.
Mr Mpofu said he last had peace of mind in 1971 when he customarily married Mrs Mpofu.
Plumtree magistrate Mr Livard Philemon granted Mr Mpofu's application.

This was after the couple was told to submit to the court a memorandum of understanding on how they would share the property they had acquired through their course of marriage.
"I want to divorce my wife because I don't love her anymore. We have been married for all this while but we have not had sexual intercourse for the past 19 years.
''She has not been treating me well even during times when I was ill. The divorce will give me an opportunity to have peace of mind as I have been unhappy for a long time in this marriage,'' said Mr Mpofu.
In response, Mrs Mpofu begged her husband to reconsider ending their marriage, saying she still loved him.
She told him that a divorce would be an embarrassment to their family and children.
"I do not consent to the divorce as I still love you. How can we divorce now when we are as old as we are? I'm sure that we can resolve our dispute and continue with our life and things can go back to normal," pleaded Mrs Mpofu.
"If we divorce we will just embarrass the children and bring shame upon ourselves. You have poor eyesight and you are constantly ill therefore you need me by your side so that I care for you.''
