According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the former NFL player supposedly hates his new gig and is having so much trouble waking up early for the show that he’s “ready to throw in the towel.” Without a single source to back up its ridiculous claim, the site says, “If there’s one thing that Kelly Ripa would absolutely love, it’s seeing Michael Strahan quit ‘Good Morning America’ or, better yet, get fired from the show.”
The webloid goes on to claim Ripa is still “bitter and jealous” over Strahan leaving “Live” earlier this year, and would be “beaming with delight” if he were to be out of work. But Gossip Copchecked in with a source close to the situation, who assures us the website’s report is completely “false.” Not only is Strahan very happy with his new “GMA” gig, but his former co-host isn’t secretly hoping he’ll quit or get fired. This is all totally fabricated.
