Government Interrupts Kah Walla’s Bamenda Solidarity Tour

The tour which was in line with the ongoing crisis in the North West region has been interrupted by the SDOs of the Mezam and Bui divisions.

Kah walla’s tour made up of persons from different regions, was aimed at showing solidarity to the inhabitants of the North west region, propose solutions to the crisis,and advocate for peaceful exchanges between the Cameroonians.

The delegation was supposed to meet and exchange with administrative, traditional and political authorities, as well as families of victims of the crisis. It is in this line that a press conference was scheduled for September 21 where political actors of the movement were to make their comments after observation on the crisis.

However, the pacific manifestations organised by the movement were all cancelled, as the SDO of the Mezam division signed an order banning all public manifestations in his area of jurisdiction.
