The case of Samuel Eto'o against Nathalie Koah is definitely far from knowing an epilogue.
While it was believed to have already known all the contours, new revelations from a journalist of the newspaper "The Messenger", Souley Onohiolo, come to bring this case up to date.
Speaking yesterday on Sunday in the program "The Arena" Channel 2, the journalist has indeed revealed that the Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o would have given a sum of 12 million CFA francs to the press to buy the silence of some journalists who would have known about the case before it was publicized.
Samuel Esto'o is credited with handing it over to Roger Chantal Tuile, the Publishing Director of the newspaper La Tribune de l'Est. According to the revelations of the journalist, Roger Chantal Tuile, who - at first - received the sum of 5 million F CFA from Nathalie Koah, had been contacted by Samuel Eto'o to torpedo the case.
Present on the sets of the show, the DP of the newspaper La Tribune de l'Est acknowledged having received money from Nathalie Koah, but without acknowledging having touched the 12 million Samuel Eto'o.
"I was contacted by this young lady [Nathalie Koah, NLDR]. At the time, she was extremely threatened and wanted to talk about her business. (...) I invited the Publications Directors as well as the Radio Directors. Nathalie Koah gave $ 5 million and all the directors received $ 500,000 each to make the case public. (...) It was only three days later that I was contacted by Samuel Eto'o through Jean Bruno Tagne. (...) We simply discussed, "defended Roger Chantal Tile.
These are revelations that surely open another page of this case in which the Cameroonian media played a major role.
