The World Economic Congress (WEC) summit has kicked off in the capital today amid calls for a collaborative effort between Africa and international investors to develop the continent’s economy.
WEC president Dr Alexander Chisango said the platform is a Christian led initiative aimed at merging the faith based economic vision and the physical economic blueprints for economic prosperity.“We are talking of building an economy through the church firstly inside and also in the community in the churches, so the church being light and salt of the earth will apply economically integrated and collaborative approach to economic building, the church as God’s body, it is both spiritual and physical, we has economic vision, template and blueprint generating unique economic projects,” he said.
